The text on the foot rest in Danish is something along the lines of "Hi biker! Rest your foot here... And thanks for using your bike in town!"

The re-usable water bottle

"We might think 2€ for a bottle of water in a cafĂ© is expensive but in fact they are 2€ spent on not drinking a coke". This argument is the only one I've heard that makes me understand why water bottles have been so extremely popular in recent years. Next obvious step is someone taking action against the immense waist of plastic used to serve this need. MySigg lets you customize your own water container with 144 bottles and 44 lids to create what they hope might become the next big thing - the re-usable water bottle.

Spin wash

Quite a different spin! A shower and a bathtub in one. Spin it around and you have a nice sit in bath. It looks good and is definitely quite a new perspective on the old bathtub.

It's got to be free, baby!

Most businesses better get used to it - their products got to be free in the future! In the era of the internet it's simply not possible to host a business that doesn't give away it's products for free either to get attention or to have it's profit out of some other source as advertisement. Take the music industry. They're still trying to fight off the pirats on the internet who share and download all their music among each other. In Denmark TDC, the largest internet provider, has bought the rights to offer all its customers free downloads of some one million songs from their internet. Or have a look at the news papers - completely free! Ryan Air, the European flight carrier, is aiming at free plane tickets in the future too.

Male discrimination

Apoteket, a Swedish state-run pharmacy chain, has been sued for male discrimination. When they began to sell over-the-counter sex toys this summer barely an eyebrow was raised. Now they are filled with sexual discrimination because they don't have any erotic toys for men. Apoteket was told to have a "misguided and untrue view of sexuality whereby a woman with a dildo is seen as liberated, strong and independent, while a man with a blow-up vagina is viewed as disgusting and perverted". Apoteket's spokes person has replied that there's a general lack of erotic toy products of a similar good standard for men on the market.

Make it easy!

A one switch on and off button to turn off all those electrical appliances that are just standing there using a bit of energy for no reason. Simple, easy, intuitive, and we might even save a few pennies at the end of the month this way.
